You can do something about it.
All of us can make simple changes, like recycling or picking up litter, to help keep our environment clean.
Properly dispose of hazardous wastes. Don't pour paint, motor oil, fertilizers, or pesticides down your drains. This can lead to problems aplenty; recycle them properly. We also have a great list of recycling resources and eco-friendly products in a helpful home handbook, a healthy environment starts at home.

Collect rubbish and debris. Proper disposal of trash can keep storm drains clear and reduce backups. It can also keep your community looking a little cleaner.

Pitch those pills. Don’t flush medicines down your drain because those chemicals affect the water environment. There are better ways to dispose of them.

Apply for a discounted sewer rate. Some homeowners qualify to save money on their sewer bill. We have a summer program, and one for senior and disabled customers, too.
